About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Dietitian to serve as a vital member of each patient’s core care team in an outpatient setting. The dietitian will analyze laboratory results and educate patients and their families about appropriate nutrition. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, building long-term relationships, and using influence and leadership to help patients live better lives. The position may involve flexible schedules, work at multiple facilities, and travel when needed. After hire and training, the successful candidate must complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.

Requirements

State licensure is required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area required.
Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly across multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
After hire and training, successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.
