About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s to complete monthly onsite visits at skilled living facilities. The RD will be responsible for food safety and sanitation audits, dining audits, and clinical referrals. Communities average 48 hours a month. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. DiningRD has been nurturing joy through food with long-term care dining programs since 1994. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Complete monthly onsite visits at skilled living facilities.
Conduct food safety and sanitation audits.
Perform dining audits.
Handle clinical referrals.
Ensure meals meet high nutritional standards.
Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on an MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
