About The Position

Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA is recruiting a compassionate part-time Home Health Registered Dietician to serve patients in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania. The Registered Dietician makes home visits within assigned geographic territories and provides nutrition expertise as part of the home health care team. The role includes assessing clients, developing nutrition plans, counseling clients and families on medical nutrition therapy for prevention and disease management, and providing objective information and education in the home health care setting. The Registered Dietician also translates scientific findings into practical guidance for staff, clients, and caregivers, provides dietetic education, and documents clinical treatment using electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from an accredited institution, evidenced by diploma or transcript.
• Maintain membership and registration in the American Dietetic Association.
• Be a licensed Registered Dietitian in Pennsylvania.
• At least 2 years of recent experience working as a Registered Dietician in a health care setting.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Home health care experience.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.

• Provide reliable, objective information and education to individuals and families in a home health care setting.

• Function as a member of the home health care team, contributing expertise in nutritional care.
