About The Position
Family Service Association is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide consultation services for its Seaview Adult Day Health (ADH) program in Mashpee, Massachusetts. The role provides one on-site consultation visit for one hour every seven weeks, as determined by Department of Health Adult Day Health regulations, to help meet enrolled participants’ individual dietary needs. The position offers a flexible schedule and a starting consultation rate of $225 per hour. Family Service Association is a comprehensive private, nonprofit social service agency serving southeastern Massachusetts. The agency develops and implements services to support individuals and families, and has a 135-year tradition of providing professional social services in the South Coast region. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Dietitian (RD) license in Massachusetts.
- Must be able to successfully complete a Massachusetts State CORI check and CPS check.

Responsibilities
- Provide an on-site visit to Adult Day Health as determined by Department of Health Adult Day Health regulations.
- Ensure dietary services are provided and participants’ nutritional needs are met.
- As applicable, provide consultation and training to the qualified cook regarding dietary personnel, food production, service procedures, record maintenance, training programs, and sanitation.
- Provide consultation and education to staff regarding participants’ nutritional requirements, meal service, distribution, sanitation, and disaster dietary plans.
- As applicable, evaluate and approve the nutritional adequacy of planned menus.
