About The Position

Blue United Sourcing is partnering with a growing, multi-location dental group in Jacksonville, Florida, to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist. The hygienist will deliver preventive care and patient education in a supportive general and pediatric practice, with opportunities to grow across the group's offices as it expands. Advancement is based on performance, not tenure. This is a full-time, onsite W2 role. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM–2:00 PM; the final schedule will be confirmed at offer. The salary range is $45.00–$57.00 per hour, based on experience. The compensation package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, plus paid time off.

Requirements

Have an active Florida Registered Dental Hygienist license by the first day of work.
Have at least 1 year of dental hygiene experience after licensure.
Hold current CPR/BLS certification.
Be available during office hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM–2:00 PM.
Be able to stand chairside for most of the day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Experience with pediatric patients.
A chairside dental assisting background.
Experience with Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software.

Responsibilities

Perform cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
Complete patient assessments, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and conducting oral health exams.
Take digital radiographs and apply sealants and fluoride treatments.
Teach patients home care and preventive habits for lifelong oral health.
Maintain accurate records in Open Dental and follow infection control and HIPAA standards.
