About The Position
Perfect Smile Doc is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and professional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our Florida clinical team. We are looking for a hygienist who is committed to excellent patient care, education, prevention, and creating a comfortable dental experience.
Requirements
- Current Florida Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification as required
- Strong clinical and patient-education skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and infection control
Nice To Haves
- Previous dental hygiene experience preferred; qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide dental hygiene services within the scope permitted by Florida law
- Perform patient assessments and dental hygiene procedures
- Provide preventive oral-health education and home-care instructions
- Take and document appropriate patient information
- Obtain dental radiographs as permitted and required for patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow established infection-control and sterilization protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
- Follow OSHA and workplace-safety requirements
- Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to provide coordinated patient care
- Perform other dental hygiene duties permitted by Florida law and consistent with the hygienist's training and credentials
