About The Position
Join Family Smiles in Granbury as a bilingual Registered Dental Assistant. This full-time position is scheduled Monday through Friday. The assistant helps patients feel comfortable, supports dentists during treatment, maintains a sterile and organized clinical environment, and contributes to patient education and appointment management. Bilingual ability is required. Training is available for the listed certifications for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant license.
- Bilingual ability is required.
- Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing certifications; training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams, helping them feel at ease.
- Take digital X-rays.
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Maintain a sterile, organized exam and treatment environment and uphold sterilization standards.
- Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare.
- Perform teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures.
- Help manage patient appointments and care.
- Foster a warm, engaging atmosphere for patients.
