About The Position

Family Smiles is hiring a bilingual Registered Dental Assistant for its Granbury office. This full-time role is scheduled Monday through Friday. The assistant helps patients feel comfortable, supports dentists during treatment, performs dental assisting procedures, maintains a sterile and organized clinical environment, and helps manage appointments and patient care. Spanish-English bilingual ability is required. Training may be available for candidates who do not have the listed procedure certifications.

Requirements

• Bilingual ability is required.
• Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Sealant placement certification; training may be available for the right candidate.
• Nitrous monitoring certification; training may be available for the right candidate.
• Coronal polishing certification; training may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams and help them feel at ease.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Maintain a sterile, organized examination and treatment environment.
• Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare.
• Provide teeth polishing and place sealants.
• Help manage patient appointments and care.
• Follow sterilization standards.
• Create a warm, engaging atmosphere for patients.
