About The Position

The Registered Clinical Dietitian plans regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by the Medical Staff. The role includes routinely visiting and counseling patients with nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assisting with the department’s Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Requirements

Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licensure by the state where the facility is located to practice Dietetics.

Nice To Haves

Three years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by the Medical Staff.
Routinely visit patients and counsel those with nutritional needs.
Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
Assist with maintaining the department’s Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
