About The Position
TheKey is actively seeking reliable, compassionate, and empathetic professionals to join our team as caregivers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver premium, in-home care to senior individuals, allowing them to safely and comfortably age in their own homes. TheKey is passionately committed to enabling seniors to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience caring for the elderly
- RCA certificate and BC caregiver registration number
- Good command of English and be able to converse with ease on a wide variety of topics
- No history of criminal background
- Passionate about providing care for elders
- Compassionate, honest, reliable, confident, and highly sociable
- Confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation
- Able to cook
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- 3 professional references including telephone numbers
- Ability to reliably travel to client homes and office location(s)
- Ability to safely perform client transfers with weight-bearing requirements, contingent upon client condition and needs
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday

Responsibilities
- Assist with various daily activities and managing the overall well-being of clients.
- Implement personalized care plans that cater to the holistic needs of our clients.
- Manage activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintaining client autonomy.
- Work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous, and total care conditions.
- Personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Cooking and nutritional guidance
- Transportation services
- Light housekeeping services and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Exercise and physical assistance
- Conversation, companionship, and mental stimulation
