Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Must adhere to the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) guidelines for educational professionals and maintain current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver evidence-based interventions and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed to support student needs.
Collect and document data on student behavior and progress to ensure effective implementation of intervention strategies.
Assist in designing, adapting, and executing interventions tailored to Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with the educational team.
Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to provide input on students’ behavioral needs and progress.
Support school staff in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment by modeling and teaching effective behavioral strategies.
