About The Position

The Compliance Assistant will provide a supportive role to the Compliance Director and her team. He/she will be a team player with a “Can Do!” and “How Can I Help?” attitude. He/she will interact frequently with school administrators and grant partners and will bring enthusiasm and positivity to those interactions. This position is largely deadline-driven; it requires a proactive work-ethic and highly organized work flow. Primary job responsibilities include gathering data, writing applications, preparing reports, facilitating meetings, organizing grant documentation, and monitoring programs to ensure requirements are met.

  • Familiarity with APA’s model, policies, and assessments

Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly Compliance Team meetings
  • Maintain District Compliance Calendar and follow up with reminders to responsible parties
  • Facilitate campus stakeholder meetings, system accreditation and program audits/monitoring reviews
  • Develop a deep knowledge of afterschool grant programs in order to ensure fidelity to grant partners
  • Gather and organize data and other information for grant and program
  • Ensure confidentiality of all records with personally identifying information (PII)
  • Attend periodic training meetings with grant partners
  • Assist with grant applications
  • Commute occasionally between campuses to attend training, gather information or facilitate meetings
  • Maintain an organized electronic archive of compliance reports
  • Maintain an organized physical copy of key documents
  • Other district or compliance support tasks as needed
