About The Position

Golden Steps ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis services to children and young adults with autism. RBTs work directly with children and families to support progress toward individualized treatment goals, using treatment plans developed by a BCBA. The role includes BCBA guidance, collaboration with the clinical team, paid training, ongoing supervision, and opportunities for professional development. The position offers part-time afternoon and evening hours and is performed in clients’ homes or community settings.

Requirements

Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification, if applicable to the opening.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities is helpful, but not required.
Experience in childcare, education, special education, or a related field can be a strong foundation.
Driver’s license and reliable transportation, if travel to client homes is required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism, following treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions.
Use the treatment strategies and behavior support plans developed for each client.
Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time.
Share observations and questions with the supervising BCBA.
Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
