About The Position

Lighthouse Autism Center is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. This part-time, after-school position offers a structured career path with opportunities for professional development and growth. You will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with autism by providing one-on-one ABA therapy in a play-based and naturalistic environment. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift/carry more than 50 lbs.
Ability to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any area.
Ability to run, crouch, squat, and kneel for sustained periods of time.
Ability to bend at the waist to touch knees and/or toes.
Full range of motion of hands and arms.
Ability to sit on the floor and chair for long periods of time.
Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support.
Ability to communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and written.
Undergo a background check and drug test at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

College degree is preferred but not required.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children ranging from 18 months to school age.
Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
Apply creativity and advanced techniques in our play-based and naturalistic therapy environment.
Guide children's progress in educational and social settings, preparing them for successful transitions.
Document and track each child's development, contributing to their customized therapy programs.
