About The Position
SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide individualized behavioral therapy in a clinic setting. The technician implements treatment goals under BCBA supervision, supports clients’ communication, self-help, and social skills, and tracks progress and program data. The role requires effective communication with supervisors and staff, adherence to company policies and confidentiality requirements, and the ability to travel between assignments and locations. The position is part-time and offers medical benefits to those who qualify.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification, or at least six months of prior work or volunteer experience providing individual instruction, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to and from multiple assignments or locations daily.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Behavior Technician certification is referenced as an option; candidates without it must be willing to obtain it.
- Experience providing individual instruction in a healthcare environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a clinic setting.
- Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to the supervisor.
- Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
- Track client progress and program data.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient-related information.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on interactions and assignments.
- Work independently while maintaining communication and coordinating work efforts with management and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
