Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
Action Behavior Centers is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years. Technicians follow personalized treatment plans, collect session data, and help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities. The role involves staying active throughout sessions and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment while collaborating with a supportive team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with predictable daytime hours and no nights. Optional Saturdays may be available based on patient needs. Team members may occasionally support a nearby ABC clinic when additional coverage is needed. Immediate openings are available. ABC describes opportunities for career advancement into Clinical Administrator and Operations Manager roles, as well as a path to Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) roles through its Everest Program.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Be comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on and off the floor frequently.
- Be able to maintain an active pace while working with young children.
- Have reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Be willing to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
