About The Position
Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians, specifically for a client in Bloomsbury, NJ. This role involves working with a 19-year-old client who requires 12 hours of service per week. The company is a smaller ABA therapy provider that emphasizes collaboration, ongoing learning, and personal support, offering mentorship for career growth. They are looking for individuals with an active RBT Certification and are willing to support them in pursuing a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- A passion for helping others and a desire to learn
- Active RBT Certification
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field
- Prior experience in ABA, childcare, teaching, or working with children with special needs
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training and have an active RBT Cert
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with clients in their home
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress
- Communicate with supervising BCBAs and provide updates to families
- Foster growth, independence, and meaningful progress in the lives of the children we serve
