Autism Behavior Technician

Caravel Autism HealthKennewick, WA
$17 - $19Onsite

About The Position

We are looking for a certain kind of person who kneels down to a child's eye level, patiently brings the same positivity to the tenth try as the first, and celebrates a small win like it's the biggest thing that happened all week. We call them teammates who change lives. We will teach you the skills needed for this role. You will work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism, in a center-based environment. This involves delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans. You will build skills through play, connection, and presence that helps a child feel safe enough to try. You will also track progress and document sessions using ABA technology, create a safe, positive environment for every child, and prepare for your RBT certification exam within your first 45 days. At Caravel, we help children with autism discover their potential and help their families thrive. We support each other’s progress and push the industry to improve. We turn difficult circumstances into small moments of progress, and eventually into big steps forward. This work is relentless and demanding, guided by scientific rigor and fueled by steady, sensitive care.
