About The Position

AWARE is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide ABA-based support to adults, children, and families in the Great Falls community. The role supports clients in becoming active and vital members of their community while focusing on personal growth. The technician works with families and treatment team members to deliver care effectively, follow treatment plans, and support communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills. Requirements

High school diploma or HSE.
Interpersonal oral and written communication skills to work as a team member, make and accurately report observations, learn behavioral and clinical methods, follow oral and written instructions, and facilitate meetings.
A valid Montana Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record.
An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.

Responsibilities

Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
Increase the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers, such as desired items or actions, attention, or removal of demands or aversive situations.
Accurately collect behavior data, including A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, event, and interval-based recording.
Follow treatment plan goals and interventions, use sound judgment, and seek appropriate consultation.
Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disrupting the environment or other individuals.
Educate people involved in treatment about ABA-based interventions and the RBT role, and remain within the boundaries of that role.
