About The Position

AWARE is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide ABA-based support to clients in Livingston, Montana. The role supports adults, children, and families in building personal growth and becoming active members of their communities. The technician works with clients, families, and treatment team members to implement treatment plans and provide compassionate, high-quality care. The position is full time, with a starting pay range of $19.00 to $23.59 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or HSE.
Interpersonal oral and written communication skills to work as a team member, make and accurately report observations, learn behavioral and clinical methods, follow oral and written instructions, and facilitate meetings.
Valid Montana Driver’s License or ability to obtain one, with an acceptable driving record.
Acceptable criminal and protective services background check.

Responsibilities

Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
Increase the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers, such as desired items or actions, attention, or removal of demands or aversive situations.
Accurately collect behavior data, including A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, event, and interval-based recording.
Follow treatment plan goals and interventions, use sound judgment, and seek appropriate consultation.
Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide effective treatment without disrupting the environment or other individuals.
Educate involved parties about ABA-based interventions and the RBT role, and work within the boundaries of that role.
