About The Position
LBAPS is hiring an experienced Registered Behavior Technician for a consistent, one-client, 1:1 case with a 9-year-old boy in Staten Island, New York. The position provides in-home ABA therapy and is intended for an experienced technician, not an entry-level candidate. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Hours are consistent each week, with one family and no driving between clients. Compensation is $22.50 per hour. The technician will implement an individualized behavior intervention plan, support the child's communication, social, and daily living skills, collect session data, document progress, and work with the supervising BCBA to advance treatment goals.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Substantial hands-on ABA experience; this requirement is non-negotiable.
- Ability to run a program independently within a BCBA's plan.
- Confidence with data collection.
- Skill communicating with parents in the home.
- Patience, reliability, and genuine warmth with children.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in the client's home.
