About The Position
LBAPS is hiring an experienced Registered Behavior Technician for a consistent, one-to-one case with a 9-year-old boy in Staten Island, New York. The position provides in-home ABA therapy and is intended for an experienced technician, not an entry-level candidate. The technician will implement an individualized behavior intervention plan, support the child's communication, social, and daily living skills, collect session data, document progress, and coordinate with the supervising BCBA. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The role serves one family, with no travel between clients. Compensation is $22.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Substantial hands-on ABA experience; the posting states this requirement is non-negotiable.
- Ability to run a program independently within a BCBA's plan.
- Confidence and skill in data collection.
- Ability to communicate with parents in the home.
- Patience, reliability, warmth with children, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
