About The Position

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. The Registered Behavior Technician provides one-to-one specialized treatment to clients in a center-based setting, working in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Paid training and support are provided to help technicians carry out treatment plans. The position may offer part-time and/or full-time guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Currently certified as an RBT.
• Currently certified with the Nevada ABA board or willing to obtain certification if moving from another state.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Passion and love for working with children.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans and report progress.
• Support the BCBA with training families to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Keep pace with clients as they move around session areas, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
• Perform other tasks outlined by the BCBA or LBA.
