Patterns is seeking a patient, dependable Registered Behavior Technician to provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis services to teenagers in a clinic-based setting under BCBA supervision. The role supports teens with developmental disabilities or significant behavioral support needs, including emotional dysregulation and physical aggression. The RBT will build trusting relationships and help teenagers develop confidence, communication, emotional regulation, coping, daily living, and independence skills. The position requires recognizing early signs of distress, using proactive prevention and de-escalation strategies, and responding to physical aggression safely and according to individualized behavior and safety plans. Staff must use only procedures for which they have completed required training and are authorized. Support also includes helping teens return to activities with dignity after challenging moments, assisting with personal care routines, collecting accurate data, and collaborating with families and the clinical team. Patterns provides internal training and mentorship with experienced clinical leaders, and describes a career path based on performance, formal training, and higher education. After an employee passes the BACB Registered Behavior Technician certification exam and HR receives proof, a promotion with a pay increase is guaranteed. Full-time and part-time schedules are available; the posting lists an 11 a.m.–4 p.m. schedule as available. The stated pay is $25 or more per hour.
