Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
Action Behavior Centers is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years. Technicians follow personalized treatment plans, collect session data, and help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities. The role involves staying active throughout sessions and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment while collaborating with a supportive team. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with predictable daytime hours and no nights. Optional Saturdays may be available based on patient needs. The position is based at 24800 Pitkin Rd, Spring, TX 77386, with occasional support at a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed. Immediate openings are available. ABC describes opportunities for career growth, including Clinical Administrator and Operations Manager roles and a path to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst through its Everest Program.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on and off the floor frequently.
- Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
