Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years. Technicians follow personalized treatment plans, collect session data, and help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment. The role involves staying active throughout sessions and collaborating with a supportive team focused on helping children grow and succeed. The position offers predictable weekday daytime hours, guaranteed full-time hours, paid training, and a paid, fully covered RBT certification for those who need to complete certification after hire. The company describes opportunities for advancement into clinical administration, operations management, and BCBA roles through its Everest Program. Technicians may occasionally support a nearby clinic if additional coverage is needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and frequently getting on and off the floor.
- Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire if not already certified.
