About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, patient care, and experience working with children. This position is essential in promoting positive behavior management and helping clients achieve their personal goals.

Requirements

  • Experience with multiple age groups
  • Must have experience with aggressive and self-injurious behaviors
  • Must be a Certified Behavior Technician by BACB.com or have registered to take the RBT exam
  • Must be CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention or equivalent certified
  • Must be a U. S. citizen, legal/permanent resident, or have a valid employment authorization
  • Must be certified in OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid, or be willing to get them
  • HS diploma required
  • Must be a team player
  • CPR/BLS certified (or willing to obtain prior to hiring)
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
  • Clear Criminal Background

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience working with children with developmental/ intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or related disorders preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
  • Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity
  • Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders
  • Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA
  • As applicable, provide transportation related to the implementation of activities as directed by the treatment plan
  • Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan
  • Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist
  • Review data and progress reports with Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to strategize program improvements
  • Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assists in the creation of instructional materials
  • Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary
  • Attends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetings
  • Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
