About The Position

Innkeeper Hospitality Services is seeking a Full-Time/Part-Time Maintenance Technician for Hotel Saint Louis. This role is for a hands-on individual who enjoys fixing things, solving problems, and keeping a property in top shape. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the hotel operates at its best, from repairing equipment to ensuring guest comfort and safety.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills—you enjoy working with people as much as working with tools.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Experience with commercial maintenance systems is a plus, including: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Boilers and chillers, Refrigeration, Water softeners.
Knowledge of OSHA and general workplace safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

Keeping guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems in excellent condition.
Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, kitchen, laundry, pool, and life safety systems.
Responding quickly to maintenance requests with friendly, professional service.
Performing preventative maintenance to stop problems before they happen.
Maintaining building security, key control, and life safety systems.
Partnering with hotel leadership to communicate building needs and improvement opportunities.
Coordinating and overseeing outside contractors when specialized work is needed.
Following all company policies and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment for guests, team members, and vendors.
Delivering exceptional guest service because every repair helps create a memorable stay.
