About The Position

The Bellperson will be the most outgoing and welcoming associate as guests arrive and depart the hotel. They will maintain an impeccable grooming appearance and work uniform, assist guests with luggage, and stay posted at the front entrance to greet guests. This role requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and provide a minimum Four-diamond level service to each and every guest. The Bellperson will also support the guest services team by answering guest questions, providing directions, and information about hotel facilities. Additionally, they will report safety hazards and suspicious persons, know all safety and emergency procedures, and adhere to department and attendance policies. The role also involves attending all required meetings.

Requirements

  • Previous valet experience and a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent Communication skills- both verbal and written required
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent listening skills required
  • The ability to work well as a team as well as individually at times
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to change
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • To remain calm and professional at all times
  • Ability to work under varying weather conditions
  • Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience in a high-volume setting is preferred but not necessary.
  • Clean driving record is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to strict department and attendance policies
  • Attend all required meetings
