Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - BCBA Trainee / Student Analyst
About The Position
Alpaca Health is hiring a Student Analyst (BCBA Trainee) to work one-on-one with children with autism in their homes, classrooms, and communities. The role involves following an individualized plan from a BCBA, implementing behavior strategies, collecting data, and building consistent relationships that support children’s growth. Each team member is paired with a dedicated BCBA who provides mentorship and is closely involved and reachable. The position offers career growth support, including a path toward BCBA certification. Work is in person, with full-time or part-time options and some flexibility across mornings, afternoons, and evenings to meet client needs.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in school to become a BCBA, or currently a graduate student in psychology or social work.
- Enjoy working with children, especially children who need extra patience and creativity.
- Have reliable availability across mornings, afternoons, or evenings to support consistent client care.
- Have reliable transportation to reach client homes and schools.
- Be able to meet the physical demands of getting on the floor, moving around, staying active, and lifting approximately 50 pounds.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to pass a background check.

- Experience in education, childcare, psychology, social work, or another role involving showing up for children.
