About The Position

Alpaca Health is hiring a Student Analyst (BCBA Trainee) to work one-on-one with children with autism in their homes, classrooms, and communities. The role involves following individualized plans from a BCBA, implementing behavior strategies, collecting data, and building consistent relationships that support children’s growth. A dedicated BCBA provides close involvement, mentorship, and support. The position offers career growth support, including a path toward BCBA certification. Work is in person, with full-time or part-time arrangements and some flexibility across mornings, afternoons, and evenings to meet client needs.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in school to become a BCBA or currently a graduate student in psychology or social work.
Genuinely enjoy working with children, especially children who need extra patience and creativity.
Have reliable availability across mornings, afternoons, or evenings to support client consistency.
Have reliable transportation to reach client homes and schools.
Be able to keep up physically, including getting on the floor, moving around, and staying active; able to lift approximately 50 pounds.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience in education, childcare, psychology, social work, or another role involving showing up for children.
