About The Position

Port Pirie Regional Health Service (PPRHS) is a 52-bed acute facility delivering a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, perioperative services, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, birthing services, outpatient services, and acute medical and surgical care. With over 15,000 Emergency Department presentations annually, alongside surgical and direct admissions across all age groups, PPRHS is supported by an onsite medical team, SA Pharmacy, SA Pathology, SA Dental Service, and SA Medical Imaging. Requirements

  • Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Undergo employment screening.
  • Meet immunisation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide acute/medical care on a permanent or temporary basis.
  • Work in surgical wards/delivery suites on a permanent or temporary basis.
  • Serve in the Emergency Department on a permanent or temporary basis.
  • Provide care in Renal Dialysis on a permanent or temporary basis.
  • Work in the Nurse-led clinic (NLAS) on a permanent basis.
  • Provide perioperative care on a permanent or temporary basis.
  • Undertake employment screening and meet immunisation requirements.
  • Provide service to the highest possible standard to all visitors.
