About The Position

ClickHouse is hiring its first Regional Vice President for the Southeast to build and lead the region’s enterprise sales business. This founding sales leader will hire and manage a team of Enterprise Account Executives, establish the region’s operating standards, and develop existing developer adoption and ClickHouse Cloud sign-ups into a durable enterprise business. The role owns the Southeast territory plan and regional quota, including account, vertical, and metro priorities; rep placement; recruiting; forecasting; and pipeline and deal reviews. The Regional VP will help convert existing ClickHouse Cloud and open-source usage into enterprise agreements and expand accounts as new use cases emerge. The role works closely with Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, Marketing, Partners and Alliances, cloud marketplaces, and ClickHouse’s product-led growth motion. It also represents ClickHouse to regional customers, partners, and the data and developer community.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience in data infrastructure, databases, analytics, observability, or cloud, including a strong record as a quota-carrying seller.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams as a first- or second-line leader, with consistent attainment that can be detailed.
  • Experience building a region or team from an early stage, including hiring initial representatives, defining territories, and growing a new geography into a predictable business.
  • A deep Southeast network of enterprise Account Executives, customers, and partners, and a reputation that attracts strong sellers.
  • Forecasting and qualification discipline, using MEDDPICC or a similar approach.
  • Technical fluency to discuss architecture with data engineers and CTOs and distinguish technical from commercial deal obstacles.
  • Experience with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models and an understanding of revenue growth in a consumption business.
  • Integrity, hunger, accountability, curiosity, seriousness about the craft, and willingness to roll up sleeves.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an early sales leader or early seller in the Southeast at a high-growth data or infrastructure company.
  • Background selling open-source or developer-led products alongside a product-led growth funnel.
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics, OLAP and columnar databases, observability, or AI/LLM workloads.
  • Established relationships with data and technology leaders at major Southeast enterprises.
  • Experience co-selling with AWS, GCP, or Azure and transacting through cloud marketplaces.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the Southeast territory plan, prioritizing accounts, verticals, and metros and determining where to place new representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, and lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives, continuing to grow the team as the region develops.
  • Own the regional quota and provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Run rigorous pipeline and deal reviews using a MEDDPICC-style qualification standard.
  • Convert existing ClickHouse Cloud and open-source usage into committed enterprise agreements, and expand accounts as new use cases emerge.
  • Join executive meetings, pressure-test deal strategy, and support representatives through complex sales cycles involving technical buyers, procurement, and security review.
  • Work closely with Solutions Architects and Sales Engineers to ensure opportunities are technically sound and customers are positioned to grow.
  • Partner with Marketing, Partners and Alliances, cloud marketplaces, and the product-led growth motion to build pipeline and identify self-serve accounts for sales-assisted engagement.
  • Build ClickHouse’s presence in the Southeast with customers, partners, and the local data and developer community through executive events, meetups, and field programs.

  • Stock options for every new team member.
  • Flexible time off in the US and generous time-off entitlement in other countries.
  • USD $500 home office setup for remote employees.
  • Opportunities to connect in person at company-wide offsites.
