The Regional VP works closely with Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, Marketing, Partners and Alliances, and product-led growth teams, while representing ClickHouse to customers, partners, and the local data and developer community.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience in data infrastructure, databases, analytics, observability, or cloud, including a strong record as a quota-carrying seller.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams as a first- or second-line leader, with consistent attainment that can be explained in detail.
  • Experience building a region or team from an early stage, including hiring initial representatives, defining territories, and growing a geography into a predictable business.
  • A deep Southeast network of enterprise Account Executives, customers, and partners, and a reputation that attracts strong sellers.
  • Forecasting and qualification discipline using MEDDPICC or a similar methodology.
  • Technical fluency to discuss architecture with data engineers and CTOs and distinguish technical deal obstacles from commercial ones.
  • Experience with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models and understanding of revenue growth in a consumption business.
  • Integrity, hunger, accountability, curiosity, strong sales craft, and willingness to roll up sleeves.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an early sales leader or early seller in the Southeast at a high-growth data or infrastructure company.
  • Background selling open-source or developer-led products alongside a product-led growth funnel.
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics, OLAP and columnar databases, observability, or AI/LLM workloads.
  • Established relationships with data and technology leaders at major Southeast enterprises.
  • Experience co-selling with AWS, GCP, or Azure and transacting through cloud marketplaces.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the Southeast territory plan, including account, vertical, and metro priorities and placement of new representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, and lead a growing team of Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Own the regional quota and provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Run pipeline and deal reviews using a rigorous MEDDPICC-style qualification standard.
  • Convert existing ClickHouse Cloud and open-source usage into enterprise agreements and expand accounts as new use cases emerge.
  • Join executive meetings, pressure-test deal strategy, and support representatives through complex sales cycles involving technical buyers, procurement, and security reviews.
  • Partner with Solutions Architects and Sales Engineers to ensure opportunities are technically sound and customers are positioned to grow.
  • Work with Marketing, Partners and Alliances, cloud marketplaces, and the product-led growth motion to build pipeline and engage self-serve accounts ready for sales assistance.
  • Build ClickHouse’s presence in the Southeast among customers, partners, and the local data and developer community through executive events, meetups, and field programs.
  • Shape the company’s culture as part of a rapidly scaling startup.

Benefits

  • Stock options for every new team member.
  • Flexible time off in the US and generous time-off entitlement in other countries.
  • USD $500 home-office setup allowance for remote employees.
  • Opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.
  • Flexible work environment at a remote-friendly, globally distributed company.
