About The Position

The Vice President of Schools (VPS) is a senior leader responsible for managing schools, principals, and initiatives that shape the education of future graduates. They ensure the high performance of schools in the region. A skilled manager and coach, the VPS leads instructional improvement, school culture, and human capital development. Driven by goals and data, they monitor performance, create motivating plans, and inspire others to achieve academic outcomes. They balance strategy execution with building relationships across teams to drive change. The VPS focuses on building leadership capacity, reallocating resources when needed, and ensuring regional leaders are equipped to meet goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of teaching experience
  • 3+ years of principal experience
  • Proven track record of achieving success and leading other leaders

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage curricula, programs, strategies, and interventions to achieve academic gains and exceed district goals.
  • Develop principals into transformational leaders and retain top performers while building a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Execute regional culture vision with school and district leaders, ensuring a college-bound culture with clear expectations for all students. Create a safe and joyful learning environment for all.
  • Analyze all relevant data associated with students, staff, and families to identify trends and develop strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HQ partners to ensure campuses meet goals.
  • Ensure that schools have efficient processes to have safe, well-run schools and meet compliance standards aligned to IDEA, state, and federal policies.
