The Vice President of School Improvement at IDEA Public Schools leads the strategic planning and execution of initiatives to enhance academic achievement, school culture, and operational effectiveness across campuses within the portfolio of the Area Superintendent. This role focuses on data-driven decision-making, instructional leadership, and targeted support to ensure all IDEA schools meet and exceed performance expectations. The Vice President will work closely with regional and national leaders to analyze school performance data, identify trends, and implement evidence-based interventions that drive sustainable success. This is a full-time hybrid (remote/on-site) position based in Austin or San Antonio, or who are willing to relocate to one of these regions. Travel Expectations: Up to 70% of the time during the busiest parts of the year (depending on home-base location). This role works remotely when not traveling and visiting campuses. Travel within home-base region throughout the year as necessary. Travel to IDEA training events or step-back maybe required.
