About The Position

PolyAI automates customer service through lifelike voice assistants that let customers lead a conversation. Our customers, which include the world’s leading logos, are expanding how they use our platform, driving automation of critical customer service operations and integrating PolyAI into their daily customer service workflows. As a Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales at PolyAI, you will be responsible for driving new business growth within your territory, building and managing a high-performing team, and developing strategic relationships with enterprise customers. You will play a key role in expanding PolyAI’s market presence and helping some of the world’s largest brands transform their customer experience through conversational AI. This role requires a highly commercial, hands-on sales leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, and is comfortable operating strategically while remaining deeply involved in complex enterprise deals.

Requirements

  • Experience selling Contact Center or Customer Experience solutions into enterprise organizations.
  • Experience leading high-performing enterprise sales teams in a fast-growth environment.
  • Experience selling AI, SaaS, or platform-based solutions within the customer experience space.
  • A strong track record of personally closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Experience selling through value-based and consultative sales methodologies.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and customer-facing teams.
  • A history of consistently achieving and exceeding quota as both an individual contributor and sales leader.
  • Knowledge of the conversational AI and contact center landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver regional revenue targets and pipeline generation goals.
  • Lead from the front in complex enterprise sales cycles, helping drive strategy, deal progression, and executive engagement.
  • Build and execute territory and account plans aligned to broader company objectives.
  • Maintain strong forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing Account Executives.
  • Coach and mentor sales talent across enterprise selling, deal strategy, and customer engagement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture centered around accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team is effectively enabled on PolyAI’s product offerings, competitive landscape, and internal processes.
  • Build strong relationships with enterprise customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Act as an executive sponsor on strategic accounts and high-value opportunities.
  • Understand customer challenges and business drivers to position PolyAI’s solutions effectively.
  • Partner closely with Solutions, Deployment, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Drive consistent new logo acquisition and expansion opportunities across the territory.
  • Negotiate and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and routes to market that accelerate growth.
  • Ensure strong sales execution and participation across the team.
  • Stay informed on trends within AI, contact center technology, and customer experience.
  • Provide market feedback to Product and Leadership teams to help shape future strategy and positioning.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and how PolyAI differentiates in the market.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting against sales targets and KPIs.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and execution.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic input to sales leadership.
