The Regional VP of Revenue Cycle leads the overall regional market strategy, optimization, implementation, and end-to-end management of revenue cycle operations, acute care and outpatient facilities. Key areas of responsibility include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, patient financial services, and coordination with HIM, Coding, Utilization Review, Charge Master, and Clinical Documentation. Partners closely with the offshore team in managing end-to-end revenue cycle efficiency and results. The Regional VP identifies trends and assists in the management of payor trends, productivity, AR management, DNFB, payor and patient cashflow and, denials, including coordination with other departments onshore and offshore, as required. The Regional VP will maintain a good working relationship with all facilities in their region to ensure clear communication. Effectively interacts with patients, other health team members, and physicians, while maintaining a standard of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Five (5) or more years of Hospital Revenue Cycle Management experience required.
  • Experience working with Epic and Meditech required.
  • Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Advanced computer skills required.
  • Possess strong knowledge of health plan requirements.
  • Experience in managing blended onshore and offshore model.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Previous regional Revenue Cycle Management preferred.
