About The Position

Full-Time Results Oriented Admissions Recruiter (Remote – New Hampshire or Vermont). We are currently seeking a driven and results-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Admissions Recruiter. This position will be remote, with a focus on recruiting prospective students from the regions of New Hampshire and Vermont. As an Admissions Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in the entire admissions recruitment cycle, engaging with high schools, college fairs, school counselors, teachers and prospective students and families both in person and virtually.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 2+ years in related field preferred, especially if in college admissions or sales.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a comprehensive admissions recruitment strategy tailored to New Hampshire and Vermont regions, as well as additional territories not requiring travel, aiming to attract a diverse pool of prospective students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with school counselors and secondary school faculty members in the name of Husson University for the purpose of recruiting new students to the University.
  • Represents the university at various high school college fairs and other events to promote our programs and offerings.
  • Develops and maintains an overall knowledge of each program of study so that questions may be discussed with prospective students.
  • Maintain accurate visit and recruiting records for all high schools in assigned territory.
  • Assisting prospective students in the college enrollment process by phone, email, social networking and traditional mail is required.
  • Travel and work flexible hours to recruit high school students through presentations at high school, fairs, and collaborative work with partners, schools or community groups and other off-campus events as needed.
  • Extensive regional travel required in the fall and spring seasons, during the week and weekends, for the purposes of new student recruitment throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.
  • Travel outside the primary assigned territories may occasionally be required to support recruitment outreach efforts.
  • Work regionally with alumni for engagement and recruitment purposes.
  • Occasional travel to campus will be required for training and special events.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to evaluate applications and make informed decisions regarding admissions.
  • Adapt to changing recruitment trends and implement innovative strategies to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.
