About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Registered Nurse to join their team. This full-time position will be based out of Raleigh, NC, and will travel throughout all North Carolina clinics. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants aged 3 to 18 months. This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, specializing in a non-traditional, niche area of pediatric cranial shaping orthoses and infant ear shape correction. As a Clinician, you will use the DOC Band® to correct cranial asymmetry and diagnose/treat plagiocephaly. You will develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. Requirements

  • Licensed RN
  • Prior pediatric experience required
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Background knowledge of symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development (similar to PTs and OTs)
  • Experience in hands-on patient care and compassion for families (similar to RNs)
  • Hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care (similar to Orthotists)

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants 3 to 18 months of age, using the DOC Band® to correct cranial asymmetry.
