Requirements

• One year of experience evaluating and coordinating information related to traffic data, incidents or conditions.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate software and camera systems to observe roadway conditions and identify incidents
• Control automated signs, sensors, and HOV lane systems to support safe and efficient travel
• Provide real time traffic updates through message signs, advisory radio, and media communication
• Work with State Police, adjoining districts, and county agencies to address roadway concerns
• Maintain detailed logs, closure reports, and equipment status information
• Assist with diagnostics and testing of field devices managed by the traffic center
