Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 + years of training management experience in progressively responsible leadership roles will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-10 years progressively responsible leadership roles with Training management experience in the low voltage, structured cabling, or data center construction industries.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and field-based operations.
  • Experience understanding of BICSI standards, ANSI/TIA codes, and electrical/communications best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of training frameworks, regulatory standards, and technical best practices.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and executive-level communication.
  • Proven ability to build and scale Training programs in high-growth and field-based environments.
  • Strong analytical and process improvement mindset.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and director-level communication.
  • Experience with Training Management programs.
  • Proficient in using a computer and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) and MS Project.
  • Administration and Management: knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, standard operating procedures (SOP), leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Law and Government: knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations, and requirements.
  • Building and Construction: knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, or other structures within Regional Datacenters.
  • Skills: Speaking, writing, reading comprehension, Active listening, critical thinking, Judgment and decision making, Systems analysis/evaluation, Complex problem solving, Time management, Service orientation, Instructing.
  • Abilities: Oral expression and comprehension; speech clarity, Written comprehension and written expression, Deductive/inductive reasoning, Problem sensitivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • BICSI, RCDD, PMP, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture.
  • Promotes positive work culture with Operational leadership.
  • In cooperation with the Director of Quality & Training, develops and manages corporate training initiatives to build a world-class program for US operations with the exception of one specific Strategic Account.
  • Works with personnel in all areas and at all levels to achieve consistent training practices throughout the region and US.
  • Provides support to regional field leadership, helping them build and maintain awareness of the E2IQ Career path.
  • Maintains training, leadership, and awareness skills among site trainings to support compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Manages training needs in accordance with both E2 Optics Career path and customer guidelines.
  • Provides technical and regulatory compliance expertise and support throughout the region and US operations under this description.
  • Develop and execute the company-wide strategy for technical training across all operations.
  • Lead cross-functional training programs to ensure consistent standards and continuous improvement across field operations.
  • Work with QA/QC to identify training needs to continuously improve the E2IQ Career path.
  • Collaborate with project, field, and engineering teams to identify training gaps.
  • Support ongoing workforce development, leadership training, and career pathing for technical roles.
  • Support onboarding and certification programs for new hires, including BICSI and client-specific requirements.
  • Support a technical training organization that equips employees with knowledge, certifications, and hands-on skills to perform at the highest level.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics for performance and training effectiveness.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning across the organization.
  • Lead, mentor technical training teams across multiple locations.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.
