About The Position

Develops and implements training activities directed at both employee competencies and technical skills. Collaborates with other functions (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Maintenance) to ensure that course materials reflect current specifications and to obtain information on new processes and equipment. May visit work locations to confirm effectiveness of technical training programs.

Requirements

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Six (6) or more years Training experience, with specific experience in designing and delivering training related to employee technical skills and competencies (Required)

Responsibilities

• Manages delivery of compliance and performance improvement initiatives; consults with subject matter experts and leadership to implement successful initiatives
• Identifies and prioritizes performance gaps, diagnoses root causes, and discusses findings with management
• Reaches consensus on solutions
• Manages training vendor relationships to include evaluation and providing feedback to help improve the impact of programs and courses
• Builds training plan, formulates facilitation outline, and determines delivery methods (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, web-based/e-learning, individual instruction, self-study, etc.)
• Delivers training to all levels of employees
• Measures pre- and post-training performance using established training metrics to evaluate effectiveness in meeting stated outcomes
