About The Position

The Senior Retail Pharmacist is a variable staffing pool role that will support the business needs as needed with an inconsistent schedule up to 40 hours a week. In this role you will compound and dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals. The Senior Retail Pharmacist will report to a Pharmacist lead with work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Staff Retail Pharmacist (Regional Support Pharmacist) duties are included but not limited to: All aspects of dispensing prescriptions as well as providing immunizations. Preparing and maintaining all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory. Providing clinical recommendations to clinic staff and overseeing the retail pharmacy team. This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Requirements

Active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in Kansas and Missouri
Certified immunizer in the state of Kansas AND/OR Missouri
Documentation of BLS/CPR certification
Strong technology skills

Retail Pharmacy experience
Dual License (Kansas and Missouri)
Ability to float between Kansas City Market pharmacies (Missouri and Kansas)
