About The Position

St George’s Nursery Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Regional Support Manager to support multiple nursery settings across the East Midlands. The role provides leadership cover when Nursery Managers are absent, operational support, and helps maintain the group’s standards for childcare and early years education. It involves supporting teams, mentoring staff, helping maintain consistency and quality across settings, and building positive relationships with children, families, and nursery teams. This is a full-time, fixed-term position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £40,000 per year.

Requirements

Experienced Nursery Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to progress.
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectations.
Adaptable, organised, and confident working across multiple settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the East Midlands.

Nice To Haves

Level 5 Early Years qualification.

Responsibilities

Lead nursery settings in the absence of Nursery Managers across the group.
Support teams to maintain outstanding care, safeguarding, and EYFS standards.
Assist with Ofsted readiness, audits, recruitment, and staff development.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and nursery teams.
Support operational improvements and maintain consistency across settings.
Act as a role model for St. George’s values, culture, and high-quality practice.
