Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • 6 to 8 years of sales experience required, including 4+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Ability to travel
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license listed as a required knowledge, skill, or ability.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Confidently sells Daikin McQuay offerings to building owners and owner representatives at the C-suite level while achieving optimal profit margins.
  • Demonstrates value to executives by providing solutions to business and financial challenges and establishing joint planning relationships.
  • Sells, renews, and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, for new and existing customers.
  • Applies strong financial and business acumen to build credibility, loyalty, trust, and long-term customer commitment.
  • Differentiates Daikin McQuay products and services from competitors by highlighting business benefits and leveraging knowledge of competitor strategies.
  • Ensures customers and Daikin McQuay maximize value from dedicated resources by engaging appropriate sales, legal, and financial teams as needed.
  • Identifies, targets, and initiates contact with prospective customers while developing and maintaining a strong professional network.
  • Utilizes sales process checkpoints, secures trial closes and commitments, qualifies opportunities, assesses customer needs, and refers leads to other business segments when appropriate.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies, including proposal pricing, delivery estimates, scheduling, and performance-based considerations.
  • Selects, prices, and integrates equipment, controls, and services for project solutions.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, legal and accounting teams, engineering firms, and building contractors, to develop proposals, establish contract terms, secure financing, and prepare sales agreements.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
