About The Position

The Regional Site Maintenance Associate role at Ocean State Job Lot (“OSJL” and “Company”) is a general handyman, working under direction of the Regional Site Maintenance Foreman. This role will perform a variety of services in their designated region, such as parking lot clean-up, snow shoveling, landscaping, trash and debris management, and painting, as well as general maintenance, cleaning, masonry, and renovation work.

Requirements

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Capable of multi-tasking, creating schedules, and meeting deadlines.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to perform tasks that meet quality standards.
Ability to perform tasks independently and in a crew.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and dependable.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of best practices for parking lot clean-up, landscaping, snow management, and exterior clean-up.
Skills of painting, furniture assembly, snow removal, and basic power tool use are preferred.
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
1 or more years of experience in landscaping, construction, or janitorial work is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform parking lot clean-up, landscaping, snow management, and exterior clean-up.
Perform general handyman tasks, including minor repairs, furniture assembly, and line striping.
Work in compliance with the Company’s standard operating procedures and OSHA requirements.
Maintain a neat, orderly, safe, and clean work area.
