About The Position

The Regional Services Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for Saber Power Services including Field Services, Maintenance Services, Specialty Services and Engineering. This role oversees Account Specialists across a region, ensuring consistent sales execution, exceptional customer experience, and strong alignment with operational and financial goals. The Regional Services Sales Manager serves as a leader for the Service Sales organization and drives performance, accountability, coaching, and long-term growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in industrial electrical services, field services, or power/utility markets.
5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-region or national sales teams.
valid drivers license, ability to travel to client project sites as required.
Strong understanding of NETA testing, electrical maintenance, construction support, and related service models.
Ability to travel up to 40 – 60% of the time to corporate offices, customer sites, industry events, and all Saber Power regions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and manage a regional Service Sales team.
Drive sales strategy and annual targets for Saber’s Services businesses.
Drive regional bookings, revenue, pipeline growth, client retention and new client development.
Ensure consistent application of Saber’s sales processes and customer engagement expectations across all regions.
Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for all sales personnel.
Create clear KPIs for activity levels, quote cadence, forecasting accuracy, customer engagement, and pipeline health.
Identify skill gaps and implement professional development plans, training programs, and career progression pathways.
Partner with HR to recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing sales talent.
Support Saber strategic accounts department relationships with key accounts within assigned region.
Monitor nationwide customer trends, competitive movements and market conditions to improve strategy and positioning.
Represent Saber Power at major industry conferences and events as needed.
Assume Account Specialist duties for customers outside local field office territories.
Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for outside sales personnel within a region.
Drive KPIs for sales cadence, opportunity development, quote activity, closed orders, forecasting accuracy, customer engagement, and pipeline health.
Provide mentor and coaching support for Account Specialists.
Identify skill gaps and implement professional development plans, training programs, and continuous technical and sales development.
Partner with executive leadership and Human Resources to recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing sales talent.
Collaborate closely with Field Service Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Partner with estimating, proposals, and legal teams to approve major opportunities and manage commercial risk.
Work with marketing and executive leadership to refine messaging, campaigns, and service offerings.
Provide Forecasting for bookings, revenue and backlog within region.
Provide accurate, timely reporting on sales metrics, pipeline status, and emerging opportunities for executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with pricing standards, contract policies, and corporate governance.
