As Regional Security Manager North America (NA), you are responsible to drive Physical Security & Operations, Crisis & Incident Management, Security Training Programs, Investigations and Intelligence across the US and Canada. You will be acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership at sites and reporting to the Security Director NA. You combine security knowledge with excellent communication and influencing skills. This is a role for Security professionals who think holistically, act decisively and translate strategy into measurable regional impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (advanced preferred) with 5+ years in security, law enforcement, or military roles, including increasing responsibility, high integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Ability and expectation to respond to incidents outside business hours.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems, risk assessments, investigations, insider threat mitigation, and protective services.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills; ability to influence and collaborate across a regional matrixed environment.
  • Ability to travel (~25% across North America).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in travel security, executive protection, and event security; professional certifications (APP, CPP, PSP, CISSP, etc.) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to implement security strategies, policies, and best practices; develop metrics and dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Conduct risk-based site assessments; oversee design and integration of access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems; support facility projects and events.
  • Lead responses to security incidents; support business continuity and emergency preparedness; advise leadership and liaise with law enforcement during crises.
  • Monitor emerging risks; maintain intelligence networks; conduct threat analyses and investigations into misconduct or fraud.
  • Manage executive protection and travel safety programs; deliver briefings and act as emergency contact for travelers.
  • Develop and deliver security education programs, workshops, and exercises; promote a culture of security awareness and accountability.
  • Identifies, implements and maintains security processes across the organization to reduce risks.
  • Develops and provides effective security policies and programs over the designated location / area.
  • Preserves and enhances facility and system usability.
  • Enhances security by systematically using threat assessment and prevention technologies.
  • Oversees the continuous monitoring and protection of facility / area, personnel, and information systems.
  • Mitigates or manages any developments that may threaten the normal operations of business and infrastructures.
  • Assists in the implementation of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Establishes appropriate standards and risk controls associated with security issues.
  • Ensures the investigation and security services in line with regulatory compliance and business continuity planning.
  • Evaluates suspected security breaches and recommends corrective actions.
  • Conducts interviews and investigative measures.
  • Monitors the compliance of safety guidelines and maintains community relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
