About The Position

The Regional Training Specialist delivers and supports comprehensive training programs within an assigned region. This role provides hands-on instruction and field support to external contractors, field personnel, and internal sales teams. Working under the direction of the Training Manager, the Specialist ensures consistent execution of training strategies that enhance installation practices, strengthen product knowledge, and drive customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three+ years of experience in technical training, field instruction, or technical support, preferably in the roofing, building materials, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of installation processes, building codes, and contractor dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop professional relationships with contractors and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate in-person, field, online, and hybrid training sessions for contractors, field personnel, and internal teams.
  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations and certification training (e.g., Trained Installer, Pro, Premium, Commercial).
  • Support development and maintenance of field-use tools, including installation guides, videos, and related training materials.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for product and installation support.
  • Deliver basic onboarding and foundational training (e.g., “Installation 101”) for regional new hires.
  • Gather feedback from contractors and field teams on product performance, installation challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
